This allows you to use Google Desktop Search to search your external hard drives, USB external drives, optical discs, USB thumb drives, flash memory cards, and other storage media, even when they are not connected to your computer.
Now you can find easily find critical business data backups, data archives, files, photos, designs or downloads in a single search.
The plug-in enables Google Desktop to index media storage titles, plus file and folder names, thumbnail images, and will also provide the physical location where each piece of media is stored.
