The Datacatch Desktop Search plug-in extends your existing Google Desktop Search index by adding your offline removable media details such as file, folder and thumbnails to searchable content.
This allows you to use Google Desktop to search your removable hard drives, optical discs, USB thumb drives, flash memory cards, and other removable media, even when they are not connected to your computer.
Now you can find easily find critical business archives, files, photos, designs or downloads in a single search.
The plug-in enables Google Desktop to index media titles, plus file and folder names, thumbnail images, and will also provide the physical location where each piece of media is stored.
