Datacatch Librarian integrated media storage solutions
Datacatch Librarian is integrated with many popular CD and DVD media storage units and towers. Each piece of media recorded in Datacatch Librarian can be specified by its media storage unit, slot or sub-location so it can be found quickly and easily.
How does it work?
When capturing details about a piece of media, such as the files and folders it contains, you can also record the location where it is stored to help you locate and retrieve the media quickly in future.
 In addition to CD and DVD media storage units, you can also assign items to other types of storage locations including shelves and cabinets, offices, buildings and vehicles. These locations can then be divided into sub-sectors the specify the shelf or rack location for easy access.
Storage locations can be viewed in Microsoft Windows in the same way you can browse folders stored on a hard drive, so you can view what discs and media each location contains.
