Lindsay Lyon

Lindsay Lyon is the founder and Chairman of Datacatch. He has 25 years of experience in the technology industry in roles ranging from CEO to Executive Management in Sales, Marketing and Support. Lindsay's career includes 13 years with Hewlett-Packard where he was responsible for their Australian commercial business. He has also worked across the Asia Pacific in channel and direct sales consulting as a Partner with Siebel Systems.

Lindsay's previous start-up company developed the Disc Stakka, which is now distributed into over eighty countries around the world. He holds a Masters of Marketing from Melbourne University, a Diploma in Electronic Engineering, an Electrical Trade Certificate, and has attended the INSEAD Executive Management Program in France.

Bret Jackson

Bret Jackson is an Otago University graduate who completed his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1998. He spent almost 3 years with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Sydney and London prior to founding his own business venture.

At BCG Bret was a Project Leader of consulting teams for client projects across Australia, Asia and Europe, covering banking, industrial, manufacturing, transport and consumer goods industries. Projects spanned mergers and acquisitions, process improvement and corporate strategy for some of Australia's largest public companies. Bret, and his wife Bridgette, then started their own venture from their home in Sydney with limited angel financing.

In the 3 years Bret was CEO and Chairman he created a robust organisation of over 150 full and part time (seasonal) staff with a substantial turnover. Upon exit to a trade buyer, significant value was returned for shareholders with an average return in excess of 50x initial equity. Upon returning to New Zealand, Bret wanted to utilize his own background and success. Therefore he founded Knox Investment Partners with the goal of providing sophisticated investors the opportunity to invest alongside him in a truly aligned private equity offering.

Duane Zitzner

Duane Zitzner has more than 20 years of management, technical and consumer technology experience with computer products and enterprise systems. He was most recently the Executive Vice President of the $24 billion Personal Systems Group at Hewlett-Packard, leading the team responsible for the development and manufacturing of their business and consumer client devices. He was also the president of Hewlett-Packard's Computing Systems organization where he was responsible for computer products and enterprise systems. Duane also worked in various management and technical positions in software and architecture at IBM.

Duane is on the Boards of both Entone Inc., Firetide Inc. and Alien Technology, where is also a director. He holds a Bachelor degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, completed graduate studies in computer science at the University of Minnesota, and studied at Wharton Business School.
